Here is a Mashable.com post about free courses from Stanford, Yale, Northwestern and Dartmouth. Pretty cool way to enhance your learning from some top schools.

Hi Reg Gupton here.

A few weeks back I was asked to speak to the students of a local real estate school as they neared the end of their training.

What follows is the PowerPoint presentation created for this program. In my 30+ years in the housing industry as an agent, local & national instructor and as a coach for over 12 years, I have seen too many agent struggle with the question: How do I get started?

This is a distillation of my experiences. I and my clients have made many, many mistakes. Now you don’t have to.

Reg Gupton here.

If I were to ask you about the quality of your listing presentation, you would most likely say: I have one and it needs improving. I was playing around today and found the following.

Here is a video of a master at work. It is a youtube video of Bruce Hardie delivering his standard listing presentation. As I recall, he lists something like 90% of the properties he goes after. It is only about 5 minutes long and clearly worth your time. As you can tell, he has his presentation standardized and systematized.

Grab a pen and paper, take notes, and revise your presentation but only if you really want to list more properties.

To your continued success.

Google has new system that allows you to receive notices when one of your favorite bloggers has a new post. I use it to save me time.  I don’t have to remember to visit the blog that I am interested in. I wait to receive emails from Google telling me that there is new content.

Here is what Google has to say about the powerful new service.

Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic.

Some handy uses of Google Alerts include:monitoring a developing news story

Stop by frequently or use Google Alerts like it do.  Give yourself a repeating reminder in your calendar to check-in every few days or so to see what is new.
